Timber Eaves and Beam

Baroque, seventeenth century

The eaves over the courtyard are one of the most notable architectural elements of the building, by virtue of their size. This structure of perpendicular wooden beams resting on a transverse main beam almost 10 metres long was built in 1759 to protect the stairs leading to the piano nobile from the rain.
